Child Development Specialist & Birth Doula I’m a Child Development Specialist and Birth Doula with a B.A. in Child Development and more than 20 years of experience supporting children and families from pregnancy through early childhood. I’ve been a certified Birth Doula since 2002 and have also completed three years of graduate study in Counseling Psychology. As a mother of wonderful adult children, I understand the trust involved in caring for someone’s child. I’m warm, attentive, dependable, and respectful of each child’s unique temperament. My approach is play-based, prioritizing books, art, curiosity, and connection over screen time. I bring a calm, caring presence and let children be children. Since joining Sitter-Tree, I have been rated a “perfect match/favorite” by every church I’ve worked with.
