Hi! I’m Kaitlynn, and I’m so excited to connect with you and your family! I’m a current preschool teacher with over five years of hands-on childcare experience, and I’m also a proud mom to a wonderful daughter. I truly love working with children and enjoy creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where they can learn, play, and feel comfortable being themselves. I currently work as a preschool teacher, caring for and teaching young children while supporting their social-emotional development, communication, independence, and everyday routines. I’m trained in Reggio Emilia–inspired learning and enjoy incorporating creative, hands-on activities that encourage children to explore and learn through play. My childcare experience includes working as a personal nanny for children under 5, babysitting children of various ages, serving as a summer camp instructor, and working as a youth counselor at a nonprofit organization. As a summer camp instructor, I worked with children across different age groups and helped lead engaging activities, games, learning experiences, and group activities. As a youth counselor, I supported children through STEAM, academic, social-emotional, and physical activities. I’m CPR certified and DECAL certified, and I’ve also completed training in child safety, including sexual abuse awareness and prevention. My experience has taught me to be patient, attentive, dependable, and adaptable to each child’s individual personality, needs, and developmental stage. I love working with children of all ages and don’t have a specific age preference! Whether your little one needs a fun playmate, help with their routine, engaging activities, or simply a caring and responsible sitter while you’re away, I’d love the opportunity to help.
