Nicole

Hi! My name is Nicole and I currently work as a Special Education Instructional Aide with elementary-aged students in LBUSD. I have experience supporting children with different learning styles, behavioral needs, and communication needs in both classroom and childcare settings. I enjoy creating a safe, calm, and engaging environment where kids can feel comfortable, supported, and have fun. I’m especially experienced with school-aged children, routines, transitions, emotional regulation support, homework help, and keeping children engaged in positive activities. As a mom myself, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy, patient, and dependable to care for your children. I’m looking forward to helping families with babysitting, summer care, occasional care, and structured support as needed. I’m comfortable caring for multiple children and have experience with neurodivergent children, including autism and ADHD support. I am also CPI (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention) trained and experienced using calm, supportive de-escalation strategies when children need extra emotional or behavioral support.
