Hello, My name is Timikel Geter, and I am a dedicated childcare professional with more than 35 years of experience caring for children of all ages. As a parent of two teenagers, ages 14 and 16, I understand the importance of providing a safe, nurturing, and positive environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. My experience with childcare began at the age of 12 with my first babysitting job. Over the years, I have helped care for and raise children in multiple families, including supporting the upbringing of seven children across four families, as well as assisting with the care of nieces, nephews, and other children in my community. In addition to my extensive childcare experience, I have been a substitute teacher for the past five years, working with students in various grade levels and classroom settings. I have also worked in a daycare center and at a Christian private school, which has strengthened my ability to support children's educational, emotional, and developmental needs. Families describe me as dependable, patient, caring, and trustworthy. I take pride in building positive relationships with both children and parents while ensuring children feel safe, engaged, and valued in my care.
