Hello! My name is River. I am an Early Childhood Educator with 3 years of professional childcare experience, formal studies in Early Childhood Education, and the added perspective of being a mom myself. In my current role, I regularly manage and maintain structured daily routines for groups of up to 15 three year olds independently. This includes supervising play, supporting social-emotional development, facilitating learning activities, meal times, nap times, transitions, and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment throughout the day. I also have experience supporting potty training by encouraging consistency, independence, positive reinforcement, and age-appropriate routines. I believe in balancing structure with fun, helping children feel secure while encouraging creativity, curiosity, and confidence. As both an educator and a parent, I understand the importance of communication, reliability, and providing care that allows families to feel at ease while their child is in my care.
