Hello, My name is Debra. I am a strong, intelligent, healthy, middle-aged "young" woman, raised 5 beautiful boys of my own, all college educated. I am rooted in the Christian faith. I am a recent widow after 28 years of marriage and in this season of my life decided to become a Nanny. I enjoy working with children, and will bring maturity, peace, patience, love and will provide a safe and nurturing environment for your children. I have experience working with families that have up to 4 children: babies months old up to children in elementary school. I bottle feed, diaper change, take care of baby bottles, toys, laundry and put away baby clothes. I do light house work to cleanup after myself. I help with homework, read and engage in their play time, prepare simple meals/snacks for the children and provide transportation to from school / extracurricular activities. I worked with the YMCA after school care program for elementary aged children in Gwinnett County public schools. I do have experience working with special needs individuals, while providing respite care with Georgia Community Support & Solutions, an affiliate with the DBHDD (Dept of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities).
