Hi, I'm Desmond! I was born in Jamaica and moved to the U.S. at age 12. I'm a dependable and caring individual with experience in community outreach, mentoring, and family caregiving. I love creating a safe, fun, and positive environment where children can learn, grow, and feel supported. I was also a wildland firefighter for nearly a decade, which taught me responsibility, patience, teamwork, and how to stay calm under pressure. I speak both English and Jamaican Patois, and I enjoy building positive relationships with children and families. My goal is to provide dependable care, encourage learning and creativity, and help children feel safe, supported, and valued.
