Sharissa

Hi! My name is Sharissa, and I am 18 years old. I recently graduated from high school and will be attending college to study Elementary Education. I have a strong passion for working with children and helping them learn, grow, and feel safe. I currently work as an Assistant Teacher at the YMCA daycare, where I primarily work with children ages 1 to 3½ years old. In addition, I have experience caring for newborns, infants, preschoolers, and kindergarten-aged children. Through my work and experience, I have developed patience, creativity, and the ability to create a fun, nurturing environment for children of all ages. Whether it’s helping with daily routines, planning activities, reading stories, playing games, or simply providing reliable care, I love building positive relationships with children and families.
