Hello! My name is Tonya Holt, and caring for children has been a lifelong passion. As the oldest child and oldest grandchild in my family, I've naturally been surrounded by babies and young children for as long as I can remember. From babysitting siblings, cousins, and neighborhood children to building a career dedicated to helping children learn and grow, nurturing young people has always been at the heart of who I am. I recently retired after 31 years as an educator, serving in a variety of roles including preschool, special education, instructional leadership, and elementary school principal. My experience working in preschool settings gave me a strong understanding of early childhood development, while my years in education taught me the importance of creating safe, engaging, and nurturing environments where children can thrive. Families can count on me to provide dependable, patient, and attentive care. Whether we're reading stories, playing educational games, completing crafts, helping with homework, or simply having fun, I strive to ensure every child feels safe, valued, and supported.
