Hi! I’m Almiya — a dependable, detail-oriented caregiver who treats every child like they’re my own family, because in practice, they usually have been. I’ve provided regular hands-on care for my goddaughter since she was 6-7 months old and for my nieces, covering the full range of infant and toddler needs: feeding schedules, naps, diaper changes, and the kind of steady presence that keeps kids calm even when routines get disrupted. I’m also happy to prepare meals or snacks for the kids as part of care, not just supervise. What I bring beyond the basics: I read situations quickly, I know the difference between a child who needs redirection and one who needs comfort, and I don’t guess on either. I keep parents in the loop without over-communicating, I follow house rules exactly as given, and I treat the trust of being alone with someone’s child as the actual job, not a footnote to it.
