With over eight years of experience working with children, I have built my career around creating safe, engaging, and supportive environments where children can learn, grow, and thrive. I began my journey as a Teacher’s Assistant before advancing to the role of Extended Care Director, where I led a comprehensive before-school, after-school, break care, and summer program serving children from preschool through middle school. As Director, I managed the day-to-day operations of the program, including staff hiring, training, scheduling, budgeting, state licensing compliance, family communication, and program planning. I organized field trips, special events, and enrichment activities while fostering positive relationships with children, families, and staff. Throughout my career, I have been committed to creating an environment where children feel welcomed, supported, and excited to learn. My experience has strengthened my leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills while reinforcing my passion for helping children succeed. I take pride in building trusting relationships with families and creating programs that balance fun, structure, and meaningful experiences for every child.
