Hey! My name is Lillian Schriner (or you can call me Lilly). I’ve been working with kids sense I was one, and now I plan on becoming a Child Therapist through NSU. Through Play-Learning, I love to push kids to develop, learn, and become their best self. I love to play right along them, encouraging their creativity along the way. When something eventually goes wrong, I help children understand the consequences of their actions and most importantly why! I focus on positive support and being a safe playful energy. Vanguard Academy @ Broken Arrow High School at Broken Arrow, OK High School Diploma in Honors College Prep- STEM Expected in May 2026 3.9 unweighted GPA and 4.498 weighted Ranked in Top 5% of class Capstone Project: Addiction Education, It is my sole project. It is to be used by the school district to educate students via videos and engaging activities about what addiction looks like, treatment options, and resources for the friend/family member of the addict. I have worked with the school district administrative staff, recovery addicts, various local agencies on needs, concerns, strategies used Honoree of QT Integrity Award Awarded elite member of Leadership Team by my teacher all 4 years to develop, organize, assist, mentor student, tour to dignitaries, or special engagement learning activities at Vanguard Academy Honor Roll - All semesters Completed Dual Enrollment course in Environmental Science and Intro to Psych with an A in both classes Extracurricular Activities: The Park Church Youth group, Mock Trial, Prison Ministry, Hospice Volunteer, Teaching Bible class x 12 months, Wild Heart Sanctuary volunteer National Honor Society Member x 4 years Mock Trial Member 2-4 years Elected Captain of Mock Trial 2 years Volunteer at Various Organizations Prison Minstry, Assisting Teachers, August 2022 - May 2026 Wild Heart Sanctuary, Hospice, Teaching Bible Class, Tulsa Metro Graded Prison Ministry Bible studies with encouraging feedback Assisted elementary teacher to setting up centers and organizer, making charts Cleaned pens, hand feed animals, interacted with animals, released animals, assisted otherwise Visited Hospice patients, even gave several their last haircut, filing in the offices, phones to check on patient's supply needs Taught Bible class to 20+ 1st & 2nd graders including developing the interactive lesson, classroom management, and taught the lesson for 3 months 4 different times 5 Mission Trips to inner cities leading vacation Bible school, mentoring, and tutoring Daycare Assistant Teacher - 2 Summers B&A Daycare, Broken Arrow, OK Summer - 2024-25 Assisted children with regular handwashing and wiped down hard surfaces often to minimize germ spread. Encouraged curiosity, exploration and problem-solving appropriate to children's development levels. Applied positive behavior management techniques to enhance social interactions and emotional development.
