Hi! I'm Madeline, an experienced nanny, caregiver, and house manager with over 8 years of professional experience supporting children and families. Caring for others has always come naturally to me. As the oldest of three siblings and eighteen grandchildren, and having grown up around in-home daycares, I've been helping care for children for most of my life. I've professionally cared for children ranging from 3 months to 12 years old, with a special love for infants and younger children. I'm nurturing, patient, creative, and hands-on, and I genuinely enjoy becoming part of a child's world. Whether we're working on developmental milestones, reading, doing crafts, getting outside, or just being silly together, I believe in actively engaging with the children in my care rather than simply supervising them. Alongside childcare, I have extensive experience helping manage the day-to-day needs of a busy household. I'm comfortable handling grocery shopping, errands, family laundry, meal prep, household organization, scheduling, transportation, appointments, pet care, light housekeeping, and the countless little things that inevitably come up. I'm highly resourceful and proactive, so I'm usually the person who notices something needs to be done and takes care of it without waiting to be asked. I understand that every household operates differently, and I'm great at learning a family's routines, preferences, and priorities and adapting accordingly. Strong communication, organization, discretion, and reliability are incredibly important to me. Ultimately, I want to be more than an extra set of hands. My goal is to become someone a family genuinely trusts and can depend on, whether that means providing loving care for their children, keeping the household running smoothly, or simply making a busy week feel a little less overwhelming.
