Hello, My name is Amanda or Mandy, and I am more than comfortable with either. I have been working with children from infancy to school age for four years. I initially began as a daycare floater at the age of 21 and developed a deep passion for observing children’s daily progress and witnessing their growth into their unique personalities. Additionally, I have experience working with autistic children, which has provided me with a background in special needs. I have also worked as a case aide for autistic families and children, conducting visitation hours with families. After a year away from childcare, I have decided to return to this field, as working with children holds a special place in my heart. I find myself visiting my former daycare facility to reconnect with the children and staff who I worked with and formed positive relationships with. I hold first aid and CPR certifications, a Level One fingerprint clearance card, and RBT certification.
