Nancy

I will not work with this sitter again. I appreciate that Nancy brought activities for my 5-year old but I’m otherwise incredibly disappointed with the way she handled my 2-year old. He is in a separation anxiety phase and the way she engaged with it was simply unacceptable. She put him to sleep with a tablet in his crib and left it there for almost an hour. There was NO instruction to give my children ANY tablet time while we were out. At 8:40pm I checked the baby monitor and he was still up, watching YouTube while she sat downstairs with the monitor on next to her. I don’t think she realized we have cameras at home, because when I texted her to tell her that he should be asleep, she responded that she’d forgotten she had left the tablet in the crib despite the fact that we could see that she had the monitor on next to her. After she took it away, he cried for another 15 minutes and I had to sing lullabies through the monitor, from the restaurant bathroom, to put him to sleep myself. I was so upset by the fact that she had been so lazy to put my child down with a tablet, instead of staying in his room to soothe him or sing to him, that we cut our evening short. I waited 12 hours to write this review to regain my cool, but even now I am still in disbelief that such a highly-rated sitter was so irresponsible with my child.

Great visit with Nancy. Kids were sound asleep when we got home from a long date night and our cat was well fed and happy as ever. Always thankful for Nancy!

Nancy is always perfectly on time. Our 5-year old has a list of ideas for fun things to do and Nancy is always up for the activities.

Nancy jumped right in with my son and a friend while I took my daughter to a holiday event and two 8 year old boys is no easy feat!! she was terrific with them and their boundless energy!

Nancy was punctual, came prepared with fun crafts to keep the kids engaged before bedtime, and kept us updated throughout the evening. I highly recommend her!
