Hello, my name is Katie Christensen and I am a 21 year old woman who misses caring for children deeply. I previously worked at the YWCA childcare center for about a year and a half and went on to babysit for some of the kids I cared for after my employment. I have experience caring and educating all ages from 0-5 years old. I started out as an assistant teacher, but worked to get my lead certification and eventually had my own infant room. This consisted of caring for 4 babies myself through the ages of 0-12 months. My trainings and certifications consist of: Early Childhood Education classes, CCFT: Skills and Strategies for the Child Care Teacher, SID Syndrome, CPR and First Aid, Mandated Reporter, and Abusive Head Trauma Prevention.
