Fiona

I am a first-year student at Curry College majoring in Elementary Education. I am looking for part-time work while I am in school. It has been my dream to teach since I was six years old and I am committed to making that dream a reality. For the past five summers I have worked as a camp counselor, attending to children ages six to thirteen. I have led these kids through arts and crafts, mealtimes, outdoor activities, and summer school projects. I spent much of my time guiding hyperactive and neurodivergent students through tedious art projects and complex social situations. Additionally I have worked as a teachers assistant in a kindergarten classroom. My main duties were filing, cleaning, and one-on-one reading assistance. I am skilled in communication, engagement, arts and crafts, and organization. Transparency, kindness, and care are my guiding values.
