My name is Derrian Booker, and I genuinely enjoy working with children and being a positive part of their growth and development. Over the years, I have gained valuable experience caring for and mentoring children through my roles as a Summer Camp Counselor, Assistant Volleyball Coach, and Assistant Teacher. These experiences have taught me the importance of patience, encouragement, and creating a safe environment where every child feels valued and supported. I love helping children learn new skills, build confidence, and have fun while doing it. Whether I am leading activities, assisting with daily routines, supervising groups, resolving conflicts, or simply being someone they can trust and talk to, I strive to make each child feel seen, heard, and cared for. I believe every child deserves positive role models who support their unique strengths and potential. My goal is always to create a welcoming, nurturing atmosphere where children can learn, grow, and thrive while feeling safe, respected, and encouraged every step of the way.
