Naomi

Hi families! My name is Naomi, and I have a diverse background in childcare, education, and working with children of different ages. My experience started at home, where my mom operated an in-home daycare. Growing up around childcare gave me an early understanding of the patience, attentiveness, and responsibility it takes to care for children. I also helped care for my younger siblings, including supporting their homeschooling, helping them get registered for activities, and coordinating their participation in hobbies and extracurriculars. Professionally, I worked in Child Watch at the YMCA, where I gained hands-on experience supervising children, keeping them engaged, and helping create a safe and welcoming environment. I also worked as a dance teacher for three years, which allowed me to develop my skills in teaching, communication, classroom management, and adapting activities to different ages and abilities. In addition to my childcare experience, my background in healthcare, customer service, and leadership has strengthened my organization, reliability, problem-solving, and ability to communicate with people from all walks of life. I understand the importance of following instructions, respecting family routines, maintaining a safe environment, and keeping parents informed. I enjoy helping children learn, explore their interests, build confidence, and have fun while providing dependable and attentive care. Whether it’s helping with homework, planning creative activities, keeping little ones engaged, or supporting a family’s daily routine, I strive to create a positive environment where children feel comfortable and supported. I would love the opportunity to support your family and make your day a little easier!
