Stress no more Jerolita (Jeh-row-lee-tah) is here! Born in Barbados, I bring a playful, energetic vibe to each household I work with. I enjoy encouraging play through learning and witnessing the light bulb shine as they learn something new. I have been in the childcare industry for almost 7 years and a previous daycare teacher. I’ve had the pleasure of caring for children between the ages of newborn- 15years. I am currently in the process of gaining my certification to become a registered behavior technician. My goal is to provide each child with the skills they need to be successful, improve their cognitive and developmental abilities and to keep climbing. My motto is “one day at a time”. I have a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and I am a certified birth and postpartum doula. My peers often call me Aunty Jer, due to the love and adoration that I have for the children in my care. I thoroughly enjoy making crafts, singing, dancing and reading with children. My arts & craft bag is always full with ready to use supplies for any and art projects! I'm down to earth, patient, flexible and energetic! Hand and fingerprint painting, creating artwork out of recycled home materials, having an “at home spa day”, baking cookies and reading books are amongst some of my favorite activities to indulge in with children. During my free time, I enjoy reading mystery/ suspense books, hiking or enjoying the outdoors, and planning future holiday trips ☀️
