I can help with car pooling, school pick up/drop off, daily or after school care. I love helping people and I am always happy to support a family in need of care. I have worked privately as well as in Preschools. I have 13 years of experience working in Childcare and Family Support Services. I love languages and new cultures! I am learning Spanish and would love to work with a bilingual family to improve my spoken skills. I am the Lead Teacher of an infant class with students between the ages of three months to one year old. Our students curriculum is play based with a Reggio Emilia focus: but I have previously worked in centers that use Faith-Based, Bank Street, and High scope curriculums. In my current role I create and utilize lesson plans. In my Preschool we have daily sensory experiences. We go outside at least twice a day when the weather permits. I love playing outside in nature with my students and finding new ways to exercise with babies.I also work in homes privately part time, where I meal prep, play and facilitate activities, and have outside time. We consistently practice and follow all safe sleep practices. We bottle feed so I am also comfortable with bottle feeding formula or breast milk if needed. I serve meals to students three times a day so I have experience with any necessary food prep and following all allergy guidelines. I have three fur babies of my own so if you have pets don’t worry I have lots of experience caring for pets as well. I have experience with dogs and cats and I currently live with both. I can walk dogs, do physical check-ins for feeding, and provide any care needed for pets if you have them as well. I love pets and feel pretty comfortable with all types.
