Amirah

I have experience working in a daycare/preschool classroom with children ages 12 months -4 years. In my preschool classroom, I assisted 12 children with their growth and development. I enjoy long walks and outdoor play. I believe children should explore and spend their days with limited screen time. I am currently a 5th grade teacher. I have a passion for helping students discover a love for reading and the pursuit of knowledge. I am a firm advocate of providing activities for children that allow them to explore and learn more about the world around them. While teaching abroad in China, I worked with children as young as 3 years old up until 15 years old. In my classroom, we learn how to be good citizens, how to love our neighbors, and how to challenge ourselves to be the best we can be.
