Shantell

Hello! My name is Shantell, and I’m originally from New York. I have over 10 years of professional childcare experience, and caring for children has truly become my career and passion. I began my journey as a lead and substitute teacher in daycare settings before transitioning into a full-time career nanny role, where I’ve had the privilege of caring for newborns, infants, toddlers, twins, and children with disabilities. I am a calm, nurturing, patient, and dependable caregiver who believes every child deserves a safe, loving environment where they can learn, grow, and confidently reach developmental milestones. I enjoy partnering with parents by following their routines, parenting preferences, and individual family values while providing attentive, reliable care. I hold my CDA (Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate), CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant), and NCS (Newborn Care Specialist) certifications, which allow me to provide knowledgeable, high-quality care from the newborn stage through early childhood. In addition to full-time nanny positions, I have extensive experience with overnight care and date-night care. Outside of childcare, I enjoy reading, singing, walking, and practicing yoga. I also have my own reliable transportation. I recently completed a wonderful full-time contract with a family and am now looking forward to joining my next family, where I can continue making a positive impact in the lives of both children and parents.
