Julia

Hi my name is Julia Nnabue and I’m a 23 year old Birth-5 major at GSU. I have had a strong love for children for as long as I can remember. I grew up watching my younger siblings while my parents weren’t around and I have about 4 years experience working in childcare. During my second semester in college I started working as a student assistant at Capitol Hill Enrichment Center about 3 years ago. As a student assistant I help the lead teachers with the day to day care of the children and classroom management. Some of my tasks included watching over the kids while the primary teacher was not present, reading to them, hand out snack, facilitating their center time and ensuring their overall safety while at the center. My favorite activities to engage in with the kids are kickball, reading to them, and conversations during lunch.
