Hello! I’m Mel. My lifelong passion is to help anyone I can, especially children and their families. I’ve been a babysitter for the majority of my life. From taking care of my younger sisters while my mother experienced chronic health issues throughout our childhoods, to working in my former church’s child care ministry for 5 years, and caring for children of church members, friends, coworkers, and even a few attempts at working in daycare/preschools, child care has been the most rewarding job I’ve worked in any setting. Adulthood is more challenging than I thought it would ever be. I thrive to help children enjoy their childhoods, as well as the parents of the children by giving a friendly helping hand. I’ll always a big kid at heart, so if I still like to sing silly songs, play around outside, color, etc. I’d love to share my creative silliness and care!
