Hello, I’m Amaya Weekes! I’m passionate about working with children and have extensive experience with ages between 3 months to 6 years. I’ve worked as a substitute teacher at Chroma Learning Academy since March 2024 and as an infant teacher at The Goddard School in Johns Creek. I currently nanny a 5.5 year old and her mom is willing to be a reference for me! My approach is nurturing and attentive, always focused on creating a safe and engaging environment for children to thrive. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Psychology from Kennesaw State University, which enhances my understanding of early childhood development. In addition, I proudly serve in the Air Force Reserves, bringing discipline and commitment to everything I do. I’m excited to connect with families and provide the best care possible for their little ones! My plan is to apply to grad school soon to get my Masters in Social Work!
