I am a mother of three grown children, have one grandchild, and have worked in special education with children ranging in age from 3 years to 12 years since 2005. The vast majority of those years have been spent with elementary-aged students who have been diagnosed with autism. I am a certified substitute teacher and former Registered Behavior Technician. My tenet has always been to treat every child with whom I work with the same love, dignity and respect as I would want my own loved ones to be treated.
