Hi! My name is Da’Zia, and I’ve been working in childcare for over 6 years. I began my career as a daycare assistant, supporting preschool and infant classrooms. In the preschool room, I helped with circle time, lunches, field trips, and recess, while in the infant room I assisted with naptime, diaper changes, tummy time, and bottle feeding. Since then, I’ve had the joy of working as a nanny in a variety of settings. I spent three summers caring for two children, taking them to and from summer camp, and planning fun outings like visits to The Magic House, Rockin’ Jump, and the zoo. I also cared for a 5-month-old and 1-year-old in a joint nanny position, supporting their daily routines with walks, meal prep, nap time, tummy time, and age-appropriate activities like music and sensory play. Most recently, I cared for three children in Kirkwood for 3.5 years, while also gaining experience as a behavior technician and working with SSD children for the past two years. I hold a substitute certificate and enjoy supporting children with diverse needs. I am patient, dependable, and passionate about helping children learn, grow, and have fun. I strive to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children feel supported and valued.
