Erin

Hello! My name is Erin. I am a recent college graduate from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. I received a bachelor's degree in public health with a minor in community health and nutrition.  I have a career background in healthcare and the restaurant service industry.  Working in health care has prepared me for emergencies and helps me adhere to safety measures. It has also allowed me to show compassion towards people under my care. My love for people, families, and community gives me the motivation to always put my best foot forward. I have cared for children for over 10 years.  I have worked with children of all ages and children who need more tailored care for their disabilities. For the past year, I have volunteered for WSU with P.L.A.N.E, which is a physical literacy and nutrition education program for children on the autism spectrum. I was responsible for teaching them fine motor skills through sports and healthy eating habits. I am very energetic! In my spare time, I enjoy learning new ways to incorporate a healthy lifestyle, going to concerts or streaming music, and spending time with my family and friends.
