Since joining SitterTree in 2017, I have completed almost 1,000 jobs through the app, earning a spot in the Top 10 Sitters of 2019. From 2021 to 2024, I worked as a Support Specialist for SitterTree. I started my childcare experience as a mother's helper in 2004, learning how to change diapers and feed babies at an early age. I even grew up with a younger brother. Since then, I've been a sitter and nanny for countless families across Atlanta. I have volunteered with my church's middle and high school youth since 2013. When I worked for City Schools of Decatur, I provided nursery care and held a substitute teacher role for 7 years. I have experience with infants and children with special needs (no certifications, but acquired my experience through being a substitute). I also worked at a summer filmmaking camp for kids and teens from 2016-2020. I enjoy working with kids and guiding them into making positive choices. As both an artist and a former athlete, I love meeting children on their level to spark their imaginations and keep them active. I am happy to create paintings, throw a ball around (I can bring my mitt!), and engage in dramatic play. I’m also a big fan of board games and card games! In my spare time, you can find me playing dinosaurs with my godchildren. I have two dogs and consider myself a dog lover, so you can rest assured your pets will be showered with love, too!

Hello! I'm Paula, and I love children. Nannying and teaching have been some of my favorite experiences because of the wonderful little people I've been privileged to encounter. I've gotten the opportunity to pour time, energy and love into them, and in turn they add joy and laughter to my life. Outdoor activity/playtime, sports, a walk on a beautiful day or reading books for story-time are some of my favorite things to do with children. I also love hearing and seeing them create their own stories with imagination. Whether through words, arts and crafts or a favorite song they like to sing, their expression of self is super interesting. Also, I understand the need for study time and education. I am always certain to implement learning in some form during my Nanny hours. I've worked with children from infants - 15 years old which included two autistic children, a 6 year old boy and a 4 year old girl. They were all a joy. Hi! I enjoy babysitting because it brings out the nurturing side in me. The best three words to describe me are compassionate, caring, and consoling.
