My childcare experience began over 20 years ago when I worked as a teachers’ aid during my summer breaks. Since then I have worked full time as a nanny, babysat for many families, and have been on staff at a youth summer camp. I have worked full-time as a nanny with an infant starting at 3 months until she was 2.5 years. From August 2020-August 2021 I worked full time for a family with 3 children ages 2, 3 and 6. I believe in keeping a daily log that helps to communicate the child’s activities, diaper changes, and any other issue that comes up. I studied graphic design in college and have always loved using that creativity in whatever I’m doing. Working with children is a perfect opportunity as they are naturally curious and creative. Ever since I was a kid I’ve loved the opportunity to teach and assist everyone. Babysitting for me started with family members as I was always the one my family felt could handle “the little ones”! I started babysitting professionally a few years ago with my first family. The three children were ages three, nine, and fourteen. I felt very confident in my position and loved to be able to spend my time in a space were I could be helpful and appreciated. I am a creative director/dance instructor.
