Hi! My name is Makaila, and I’m a Health Science major at Spelman College with a strong passion for working with children and supporting their growth in positive environments. I have experience volunteering in special education classrooms, mentoring youth, coaching Girls on the Run, teaching dance, and leading community outreach through my nonprofit organization, Tiny Tummy Trust. I began working with children at a young age while helping care for my 6 younger siblings.
