SONYA
I started babysitting when I was 16 years old. After a few years, I then started working in a daycare with children ages 6 weeks to 4 years old. I would change diapers, bottle feed, put down for nap time, sing songs, story telling, educational play, and observed each child to help them improve their social competencies. After a while, I then worked in 2 school systems as a substitute teacher where I worked in a class room with kids with mild to moderate disabilities and autism. I have also worked 4 years in the home of military families with kids diagnosed with autism and ADHD. I worked directly with them by utilizing educational activities to help them develop social skills, learn new skills, and live life as independent as possible. I have worked with non-verbal and verbal children. This also included me helping them with homework, going to library, outside activities, potty training, learning how to tie shoes, teaching manners, and everyday skills of life. I am also a graduate and a certified nurse assistant. I am a team player with a lot of patience, attention to detail, and understanding. I also have experience caring for 3+ kids at a time. With my experience of working with kids from diapers to 18 years old, I would love to work with your family.

I genuinely love the time I spend bonding and learning with kids. I'm especially fond of shared giggles, picking up words in new languages, and learning about unique cultures. I am eager to assist with any meal prep, organizing, cleaning, making appointments, completing tasks around the house, running errands, transportation for before/after school, sports, activities, and appointments, etc. About me: I am 26, fully vaccinated + boosted for Covid, certified in First Aid and CPR, attend college online, and live in the 31302 area. I enjoy puzzles, picnics, reading, crafting, hiking, camping, riding my bike, and visiting the beach. I also have 2 very loved fur babies: Marlow, the mini dachshund, and Vincent van Gogh, the gray rescue cat.

Kiyarah
Hi, my name is Kiyarah Cone, I am 23 years old from Savannah Ga. I currently work with kids for the YMCA (YBASE). Monday through Friday I look after, teach and most importantly build relationships with the children I encounter. I also have 6 siblings of my own, so I grew up babysitting literally all the time . My grandmother also ran a daycare called FunLand! I attended it when I was much younger, but when I got older I used to watch her every move and also started to help her out when needed .
