I have worked with children all of my life. I was a nanny/ babysitter throughout college. I have been an educator for 24 years, and have taught in Georgia for the past 18 years in grades kindergarten, second and fifth. I have had experience dealing with children with special needs academically, socially and physically. For the past ten years I have been babysitting infants, toddlers and preteens. While I was in high school, I volunteered at a local elementary school to help children improve their reading and writing skills because I love helping kids and I enjoy watching them make progress as they grow. Some fun activities that I love to do with children are to play outside, sing, read fiction or non- fiction, color (I actually color for fun as an adult), playing with toys, make kid's laugh, or even doing fun learning activities! I have one dog at home and do not mind being around pets while I am baby sitting. I am also CPR certified and have experience in hospital setting with children. I will make safety and fun a priority.
