Lindsay
Howdy! My name is Lindsay and I'm a lifelong resident of Georgia. I'm a freelance photographer and copywriter, but when I'm not writing, I like dabbling with vintage cameras and feeding my roommates the latest concoction I've deemed to be my Food Network breakthrough. One of my favorite things about working with kids is the amazing sense of wonder and eagerness about them; I believe that eagerness shouldn’t be dismissed, it should be promoted! I encourage this wonder by fostering creativity through activities like arts and crafts, tea parties, skits, and reading. I've found that a lot of kids are really curious about cooking and photography, and when appropriate, I love to share these tools and processes with them as well. Experience includes babysitting ages 6 months and up as well as working with youth theatre/arts nonprofits, reading comprehension programs, and VBS. I also spent two years as a school portrait photographer (working with grades K-12) and have been an elderly caretaker. While I am not special needs or ESL-certified, during my experience with various arts-centered youth programming and as a school photographer, I have worked with both special needs students and those whose primary language is Spanish. I am always open to discussing how my experience in these areas can support your childcare needs.

Amiyah
Hello, my name is Amiyah White. I have plenty of experience when it comes to having to care for children. I I started my first experience in childcare when I was working at a daycare in New Jersey, called Sandy’s helping hands. I was then hired as an assistant teacher and work my way up to be a receptionist. I would answer the phone and communicate with parents. Since I was the age of 14, I was working at my grandmothers after school program and summer camp. And now I’m 19 being in that program for five years has taught me so much. With that being said, I take childcare very seriously and love what I do. I relocated from New York to Atlanta, Georgia. I started at primrose as I moved out here and I’m looking to expand my working experience and share it with families as well.
