Hi, I'm Stacy and I love to care for children. I’m new to Sittercity, but NOT new to caring for children. I have more than 5 years experience as a teacher and also more than 10 years experience as a professional Nanny. I’m CPR certified and first aid trained, and I have cared for newborns on up to high school aged kiddos and I have loved it all! Additionally, I have 2 degrees in Education. What else ? I know how to cook and do meal preparation, my vaccinations are current and I’m comfortable with pets. I'm a native English speaker and I know Spanish as well. I love teaching children the Spanish words for animals and shapes and colors and numbers and everyday items. I have worked with children of all ages and I have loved it all. Additionally, I can pass a background check, I have my own car and I have a clean driving record. I am comfortable with pets and I do not smoke. ++Please note that I do not provide my references to a potential family until you and I are very sure that we're a match. (sorry to be harsh but I can not burn out my references from getting calls from families that aren't very serious about hiring me. I'm sure you understand this). I like to start with one or two short interviews and if we feel that we be match, then perhaps a few working interviews, during which, we can see in real time,if we are a fit.
