Janel
Hi! I’m a reliable and compassionate childcare provider with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and several years of experience working with children in both educational and behavioral settings. I worked as a paraprofessional in a classroom and spent 3 years as a Behavioral Technician supporting children and individuals with special needs. Through these roles, I developed strong skills in patience, communication, behavior management, and creating a safe, supportive environment. I have experience caring for multiple children at once and enjoy helping kids learn, grow, and have fun while feeling comfortable and cared for.

Semone
As a mom of 3, I know what it means to nurture a child. I believe in training my children up in the way they should go. I love doing arts and crafts with the kids. We sing gospel songs and age appropriate songs together. I am not a huge fan of YouTube, but I love being more hands on “pencil to paper”. I create workbooks to cater to each child. I also provide Spanish teaching, Sight word flash cards, and Biblical teaching (parents choice). I’m a huge fan of hooked on phonics, so this course can be provided as well. I have my own vehicle. I rather to pick up the child and sit in my home, if possible. I cook and provide snacks as well. Thank you.

Edina
Hi families! I’m Edina, but I go by Edie! I’m in the process of becoming a special education teacher, and working with children is truly my passion. I’m very active, fun, and love taking kids to the playground, doing pretend play, reading, and other engaging activities. I also love creating spaces where kids feel seen, heard, safe, and encouraged to be themselves. I have handled many routines such as bedtime, evenings and afternoons. I’m currently studying Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education at Salisbury University. I’m trained in advanced childcare and certified in CPR, AED, and First Aid. I don’t drive but I’m super comfortable taking Metro and Lyft.

I earned both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Florida and am currently interning on Capitol Hill. I have experience working with children of all ages, from infants through teenagers. My background includes three summers as a camp counselor, three years as a youth volleyball coach, work as a youth waterskiing instructor, and babysitting. I also served as a lifeguard for three summers. In addition, I interned and volunteered with the education and youth department of a domestic violence shelter, where I provided childcare for the children of survivors, taught community violence prevention classes, and led youth support groups focused on social-emotional learning. I am comfortable and confident caring for children of all ages and am happy to work with families with diverse needs.

Cameron
Hello, my name is Cameron, I am a local graphic designer that loves to spend time going to the gym. I’ve been helping my sister by watching my niece and nephew while she works, which has been a rewarding experience that’s strengthened our family bond and allowed me to support her in meaningful ways. Spending time with them has also taught me patience, creativity, and the importance of being a positive role model. In addition to helping my family, In the past I've volunteered at an art therapy nonprofit for children, where I assist with creative activities that encourage self-expression and emotional growth. Both experiences have deepened my appreciation for caregiving and community service, and they’ve inspired me to continue finding ways to make a positive impact on others’ lives.
