We’re a women-owned and operated app committed to helping parents, preschools, and religious organizations find child care when they need it most. What started as a babysitter’s club in Atlanta has grown into a trusted network across the nation. But what hasn’t changed are the neighborly values SitterTree was founded on—because we believe truly great child care is rooted in community.

ariel
Hi! My name is Ariel, and I have 3 years of experience working with children in a variety of settings. I’ve worked as a nanny for families with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, supporting everything from daily routines and meal preparation to developmental activities and creative play. During my time as a nanny, I focused on creating safe, nurturing, and stimulating environments tailored to each child’s age and interests. I also have formal training in early childhood education. I’m currently pursuing coursework to become a lead teacher, with the long-term goal of teaching kindergarten or art. In addition, I’ve completed certifications in CPR and First Aid for infants and children, as well as training in child development, positive behavior guidance, and supporting dual-language learners. I’m passionate about working with children and families, and I bring a mix of hands-on experience and formal education to help children grow, learn, and feel safe

Debbie
I am 63 and a mom of 5 adult children and 7 beautiful grandchildren. I am a faithful Christian. I worked out of my home, while raising my kids, as a medical transcriptionist for 20+ years. Before that, I worked in a Mother’s Day out program at Hillsboro Church of Christ for 10+ years. I took care and/or taught ages 6 weeks to 4 years. I love all children and I’m comfortable sitting for all ages. I don’t just “watch” them, I love to interact with them. If they play on the floor, I sit on the floor with them. Reading to them or listening to them read to me is one of my favorite activities. I really enjoy the conversations kids come up with too. I am CPR and first aid certified. Thankfully, I’ve not ever had to use it and pray I never do. I will always respect and stick to parent’s rules and routines to my best of ability. I also don’t mind preparing meals and snacks. My house was the place my kids and their friends always hung out, which was great bc I knew what my kids were doing. A few of the their friends have reached out to me, thanking me for always welcoming and loving them while growing up, even stating that my house felt like their safe zone. I never knew that until recently. It was most humbling. I’ve been room mom, soccer mom, baseball and softball mom, Boy Scout mom, Girl Scout cookie mom, and high school band mom, just to name a few of the hats I proudly wore. I’m very active with my grandkids now. I hope I get to meet you soon . 😊
