Additionally, I was a foster parent for a year and a half and I now have five sons of my own with my husband. What I enjoy most about working with children is the innocence and wonderment they have and all that I receive in return. The smiles and giggles and questions are a recipe for happy days. Some activities that I enjoy engaging little ones in include; singing and rocking, reading texture books, gentle arm and leg stretches during tummy time, and of course, peek-a-boo! Interacting with older children is equally pleasant and things I like to do with them are arts and crafts, coloring and painting. Also, play dough and puzzles and stacking blocks.
