I lead the special needs ministry for a large church. We rely on weekly help from sitters we book on SitterTree. The app makes it easy to connect with sitters in our area who have experience working with children with disabilities. We now have several Favorites who we book consistently. SitterTree has been a wonderful resource for our ministry.

During that time, I worked in the Child Watch program at the YMCA, where I cared for children in a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment. I also have experience babysitting, which has allowed me to build strong relationships with children and families while creating fun and supportive experiences for kids to learn and grow. I’m CPR certified and pride myself on being responsible, dependable, and patient. Whether it’s planning fun activities, helping with homework, preparing meals, or sticking to routines, I always strive to provide the best care possible. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your children, and I treat every child with the same kindness, respect, and attention. Chloe
Hi, I'm Chloe! I’m a second-year student at University of Virginia originally from the Richmond, Virginia area, and I’ve spent the past two years babysitting for families with children ages 4 and up. I love working with kids and creating a fun, positive environment through outdoor activities, arts and crafts, reading, and creative play. In addition to babysitting, I’ve volunteered as a tutor throughout high school and college, working with children of many different ages and learning styles. For the past two summers, I served as a camp counselor at Collegiate School Summer Quest, where I led camps for students from the lower school through middle school. I’m patient, empathetic, dependable, and energetic, and I truly enjoy helping kids feel comfortable, engaged, and supported.

Daija
My name is Da’Ija Jackson, and I have over 10 years of child care experience. I’m 23 years old, and caring for children has been a natural part of my life for as long as I can remember. Even as a young girl, I loved helping with babies—holding them, changing diapers (even when I didn’t fully know how!), and supporting my family by caring for my younger siblings and cousins. That passion only grew over time. When I was in daycare myself, I would always want to help out in the younger classrooms. Later, during high school, I had the opportunity to work in our school’s daycare program that supported teen parents. I worked there during both my 11th and 12th grade years, gaining valuable hands-on experience serving children from 6 weeks to two years old. After graduating, I worked at a preschool for four years, where I deepened my understanding of early childhood development. During my time there, I served as lead teacher in the one-year-old, two-year-old, and three-year-old classrooms, leading daily activities, managing routines, and supporting each child’s growth and development with lesson planning. I then joined back with the child care program at Richmond Public Schools. Currently, I’m working toward earning my Child Development Associate (CDA) credential to further my professional development in early childhood education. In addition to my full-time work, I also provide babysitting services for former students and their families, offering trusted and familiar care. I’m passionate about creating safe, nurturing, and educational environments where children can grow, explore, and thrive.
