A18 Church is seeking caring, responsible, and attentive childcare sitters to serve during our A18 Kids Summer Sabbatical on July 5 and July 12. During these two Sundays, our regular children's ministry teachers will be taking a well-deserved break to rest, refresh, and prepare for the upcoming ministry year. Sitters will provide a safe, welcoming, and supervised environment for children during the worship service under the direction of the A18 Kids Director. This is a childcare role only; no lesson preparation or teaching is required. Responsibilities * Welcome children and families during check-in. * Supervise children throughout the church service. * Assist children with watching an age-appropriate video/movie. * Distribute and monitor snack time as directed. * Ensure children remain safe, engaged, and cared for at all times. * Follow all A18 Kids safety and security procedures. * Assist with classroom cleanup before dismissal. * Support the A18 Kids Director with any additional childcare needs during service. Check-In & Check-Out Procedures * Utilize the Planning Center Check-Ins system for all children. * Ensure every child is properly checked in upon arrival. * Verify parent/guardian security tags during child pick-up. * Follow all established child protection and release procedures. Qualifications * Must be dependable, responsible, and enjoy working with children. * Ability to provide attentive supervision in a group setting. * Comfortable following directions from the A18 Kids Director. * Ability to maintain a safe and positive environment. * Previous childcare, babysitting, teaching, or ministry experience preferred but not required. Schedule **Dates:** July 5 and July 12 **Time Commitment:** Sunday morning service hours (including setup and cleanup time as assigned) Supervision This position reports directly to the A18 Kids Director and serves alongside the A18 Kids team to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for every child. Provide a safe, welcoming nursery environment for infants through age 2 during Sunday worship services. Nursery caregivers may also support Children's Church when needed.

Looking for a sitter for my 1 year old son. I will work from home Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday I am in the office.

We’re seeking a warm, reliable nanny for our three-year-old son. We live near the Marietta square. He loves being outside, going on walks to look for construction equipment, and collecting objects from nature. He is reliably potty trained.   Summer (July through August 14):Full-time, 30-36 hours per week across four workdays, we are flexible about which four days, before our son resumes school.   Fall (August 17 through the end of September): After-school care, with pickup at 11:50 until 5:30pm. This can be 3-4 days per week depending on your preference.    Ongoing: After September, we will have a continued need for part-time help. We see this as a long-term commitment with flexibility around which days are worked.   The ideal candidate is comfortable building a daily routine with a young child and has reliable transportation. Our son is enrolled in a Montessori program, so experience or familiarity with Montessori is a plus.

Hi! We are Sean (34) and Izabela (31) and are first time parents to a baby girl, Aurelia, born April 2026! We are looking for nanny options to provide loving care to Aurelia as we return to work. We live in the Oak Grove area and have one friendly, small cat! Sean works full-time with a couple WFH days, while Izabela owns her own business that currently operates on the weekends. We are seeking between ~6 hours in-home during M-F. We would prefer someone to start in July. Aurelia is on the OGUMC wait list for '27/'28 year, and we plan to enroll her at Montessori at 18 months.
