Job experience: I was the Activity Leader at the Northwest Recreation Center for two years, and an Activity Specialist a year before that. At Northwest, I facilitated youth programs for children ages 5-17. This included summer camp, after school, art programs, acting as an inclusion counselor, and planning field trips! I've also worked for many families with neurodivergent children and children with physical disabilities. I was briefly a Youth Advocate for teens in CPS care and then became a Youth Care Worker at Grace Place which also contracted through CPS. I now work as a Human Service Technician at CPS where I support caseworkers and their clients.
