The Learning Academy of Georgia Position Title: Floater Teacher / Flexible Classroom Support Staff Position Summary: The Floater Teacher is responsible for assisting teachers and supporting classrooms throughout the center as needed. Floaters help maintain classroom ratios, provide breaks and coverage for staff, assist with daily classroom routines, and ensure a safe, clean, and positive learning environment for all children. This position requires flexibility, reliability, teamwork, and the ability to work with multiple age groups including infants, toddlers, preschool, pre-k, and school-age children. Responsibilities: *Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities *Supervise children and ensure safety at all times *Maintain proper classroom ratios according to Bright from the Start regulations *Help with meals, snacks, diapering, potty training, and nap time *Support classroom cleanliness and organization *Provide coverage during teacher breaks, absences, and transitions *Engage positively with children, families, and staff *Assist with playground supervision and classroom transitions *Follow all center policies and state licensing requirements

Teacher needed to Float in all rooms. Must be comfortable with all ages. Must be Pediatric First Aide/AED/CPR certified. Must be able to manage classroom alone. Must follow health, food & safety standards regarding mealtimes, naptimes, diaper-changing times and recreation times. Creativity is appreciated in following the daily class schedule expectations. Must also be able to clean classroom counters/chairs/floors, help empty trash and reset toys throughout the day and before exiting classroom end of shift. Attire: -work t-shirt (at least short sleeve, no logos) -work pants (no jeans or leggings)/skirts/shorts (at least knee-length -closed-toe shoes. Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to shift for instructions

Lunch and ratio coverage with diaper changing and then close either grasshopper or firefly on Monday
