Why wasn't my sitter account approved?
All sitter profiles are reviewed by our Support team once signup is complete. Profile reviews include:
- Account setup
- Background check
- Payout account
- ID verification
Do I need to fix anything?
In most cases, accounts only need a few updates before they can be approved. This may include:
- Updating your profile name to match your ID
- Uploading a more clear or different photo
- Improving your introduction
Be sure to check your email. We’ll let you know exactly what needs to be updated.
Other reasons accounts aren’t approved
Less common reasons your account may not be approved include:
- Not passing a background check
- Not completing or passing ID verification
- Having a previous SitterTree account that was permanently closed
If this applies to you, you’ll receive an email from SitterTree with more details.
