What happens if a family or group changes or cancels a job I'm booked for?

If a family or group updates or cancels a job, you’ll be notified in SitterTree. Here’s what to expect:

If job details change

If the date or time is updated after you’ve been booked, review the new details as soon as possible.

If the updated job details no longer work for you, cancel the job in your SitterTree account.

If the job is canceled

If a family or group cancels after booking, you’ll receive a cancellation fee based on your selected cancellation policy. The payout will be sent to your account, minus SitterTree’s 11% service fee.

About late arrivals

If you arrive late and the family chooses to cancel the job, they will not be charged a late termination fee.
