SitterTree has been a wonderful resource for our school. Using the app, I can post jobs, pay and review, and chat with providers who are scheduled for upcoming jobs. When I have a teacher call out last-minute, I can rely on SitterTree. It really could not be a simpler process.

Laya
Hi! I’m a caring, dependable babysitter with experience watching children of all ages and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I love reading stories, listening to music, having joyful dance parties, and creating fun, engaging activities that keep kids entertained while giving parents peace of mind.

Catherine
I have been working as a tutor seasonally for two years now! I work with kids of all ages, and the majority of my experience is with kids aged 4-7. Much of my formal work experience is working alongside teachers inside the classroom and working with kids in after school tutoring programs. As a teen and pre-teen, I volunteered with my church to help care for the younger kids. Both the kids and parents appreciated how I would kneel down to the kids' level and talk directly to them. I made an effort to understand the little ones, especially since they would get frustrated that adults did not understand what they were trying to say. Sometimes my help meant grabbing a book and having them point at and try to say what they needed. Other times it meant sitting with them as they tried to calm down. In every situation I prioritized being patient and empathetic, which is something I practice in my daily life. I joined Sitter Tree to support myself while I study Game Development at GSU. I spend much of my free time sewing and drawing, and I encourage my students to learn through creative mediums. I've found that it helps them approach problems from unique perspectives while also helping them regulate their emotions. I have informal experience working with kids and adults with ADHD, autism, and learning disabilities. I'm looking forward to helping kids continue to grow!

Nadia
Hi, I’m Nadia I have about 10+ years of babysitting experience. I have babysat children from the ages of 5 months on up and I have also babysat more than one child at a time with 4 being the most I have ever babysat in one sitting. While babysitting I love to play games, do crafts, or watch their favorite movies and shows with the kids so that we are all having fun! Coming from a big family that loves to help take care of each other you can say that I was a built in babysitter growing up but I have always enjoyed it. I honestly love babysitting because I get to be a kid again by making art projects or playing outside. I love being able to connect and grow bonds with the kids I meet and being able to make a difference in children’s lives is also a plus!

Sara
Hi! I’m Sara Chalmers! I’m still very much new to SitterTree and hope to find families to build trust with. I’m an experienced babysitter and childcare assistant. I’ve worked in churches and daycares. I truly love and enjoy working with kids! It’s my absolute passion and joy. I’m dependable, charismatic, very communicative, gentle, flexible and open minded! I am CPR & FirstAid certified. I love to give updates throughout the day with families so parents are aware of how the child’s day is going. I’m currently a stay at home mom during morning to mid-day with my 2 year old while my oldest is in school. But Tuesdays and Wednesdays are my unavailable days as I am a caregiver. I have a fenced in yard, along with a neighborhood pool & kitty pool during hot days (if parents prefer to drop off) along with meals and snacks provided. I enjoy being very active and engaged with kids, along with doing reading times. I also have a reliable vehicle if transportation is needed. I can also provide references if needed!!

Julia
Hi! My name is Julia Nnabue, and I’m a recent graduate from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education and a concentration in Birth through KindergartenEducation. I’ve had a strong love for children for as long as I can remember and have about 4 years of experience working in childcare. During college, I worked as a student assistant in a childcare center, where I supported lead teachers with the daily care of children, classroom management, activities, and maintaining a safe environment. I also completed my student teaching experience, which gave me additional hands-on experience working with young children. I’m caring, patient, responsible, and love creating fun experiences for children. Some of my favorite activities to do with kids are playing kickball, reading, arts and crafts, and having conversations during meals. I look forward to meeting your family and caring for your little ones!
