I graduated from Cleveland State University, (Go Vikings!) with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and worked in healthcare for 18 years. I really enjoyed teaching patients and decided to go back to school to pursue an education degree and graduated from Rio Salado College in Tempe, Arizona. I recently graduated in December from Western Governors University with a Masters of Science in Curriculum and Instruction degree and became a National Board Certified Teacher in Early-Middle Childhood Literacy: Reading- Language Arts. This is my 12th year of teaching. I have taught Elementary, Middle School, and currently teach High School English Language Learners.
