When I was 4 years old, I declared that I was going to be a teacher when I grew up. So, as I grew, I found every chance to be a ‘teacher’. This looked like volunteering at VBS, being a mother’s helper, and a camp counselor. As I matured, so did my roles. I began nannying and student teaching. I enjoy babysitting because kids are such lights in this world. I live by the motto that it takes a village to thrive, no matter what age you may be. With children as the future I believe it's important to have positive figures in all aspects of life, even if it's just babysitting.
