I lead the special needs ministry for a large church. We rely on weekly help from sitters we book on SitterTree. The app makes it easy to connect with sitters in our area who have experience working with children with disabilities. We now have several Favorites who we book consistently. SitterTree has been a wonderful resource for our ministry.

Jocelyn
I have over three years of hands-on experience working with children as a Registered Behavior Technician, supporting children with diverse developmental needs through patience, structure, and positive reinforcement. This role strengthened my ability to manage behaviors, encourage communication, and create safe, nurturing environments tailored to each child’s needs. Additionally, growing up in a large family has given me lifelong experience in caregiving, responsibility, and adaptability. Together, these experiences have shaped me into a compassionate, dependable, and attentive caregiver who understands the importance of consistency, empathy, and strong communication when working with children and families.

Addilyn
Caring, dependable, and energetic nanny/babysitter with experience caring for children of all ages under 13. Patient, attentive, and kind, I focus on creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and happy. I enjoy planning engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, creativity, and play while also maintaining structure and consistent daily routines. Clear communication with parents is very important to me, and I take pride in being reliable, responsible, and someone families can trust to care for their children with patience and positivity!

Laurie
Hi, my name is Laurie Greinert. I am a spry senior who loves caring for children. My jobs include working as a Paraprofessional in an elementary school, working in a daycare as an infant room teacher, as a sitter for College Sitters, as a nanny for 3 1/2 years, and most recently as an infant room closer at a daycare. I have two adorable grandsons, ages four and fourteen months. I take my 4 year old grandson to Little Gym classes, swim lessons, parks, RR library, taking my dog on walks to the creek, and we enjoy all kinds of adventures! I enjoy arts and crafts, nature, and my dogs. I attend church in Georgetown, and help in the church nursery when I'm scheduled. Children bring so much joy to the world and I enjoy being part of their world!

Juliet
Hi! My name is Juliet. I began volunteering and working in childcare at my church when I was 14. Growing up in a large family, I’ve always been surrounded by children of all ages, including siblings with diverse needs, so caring for kids has always come naturally to me. Since then, I’ve worked at three different daycares. The most recent one was small, which I loved because it allowed me to build meaningful relationships with each child and their parents. I started there as a preschool teacher’s aide before moving into a preschool lead teacher role, where I was responsible for classroom management, lesson planning, and creating a fun, engaging learning environment. I later worked as an infant assistant teacher, caring for babies based on their individual schedules and developmental needs, before returning to lead preschool classrooms. I also served as the lead teacher for children ages 12–18 months, later transitioned to leading an 18–24-month-old classroom, and eventually became the lead teacher for three-year-olds. Along the way, I also stepped into other preschool classrooms whenever needed, giving me experience with a wide range of ages and personalities. Every role has helped me grow as a caregiver and teacher. I love creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel supported, encouraged, and excited to learn.

Herbert
Hi, I’m Herbert but most people just call me Herb! I have babysat a few of my parents friend’s kids, sometimes overnight with ease because I’m used to watching children. I say that because I have two younger sisters that I watch over when my parents leave the house.
