How to post a job

Select Post Job

1. Select job type Choose the type of care you need:

  • Child care provider (Sitter)
  • Substitute teacher
  • Direct hire (Full-time or part-time teacher)

2. Select job schedule Choose whether the job is single or recurring.

3. Add job details Enter details including:

  • Number of sitters/teachers needed
  • Hourly rate
  • Start and end date
  • Days of the week
  • Start and end times
  • Unpaid break time
  • Job contact
  • Job description

Note: In California, child care providers set their hourly rates.

4. Review and post Review your job details and post your job.

What’s next

Once your job is posted, sitters and teachers in your area can view and apply. You’ll be notified as you receive applicants. You can also search for candidates and invite up to 5 to apply per job.
